The ‘Statue of Knowledge’ – MP Sudhakar Shrangare took the initiative and laid the foundation of the ‘Statue of Knowledge’, an inspiration for all! A 75 feet tall statue of architect of the Indian constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was unveiled on the eve of 13th April 2022 in the premises of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Park in Latur city with a ground-breaking ceremony. MP Sudhakar Shrangare relentlessly pursued for financial aid from government for the statue as well as embellishment of the park. Eventually his efforts bore fruit and the government granted Rs 10 crore for the same. A team of 35 artists built the statue within 28 days, which has been made using fiber on steel structure.
